The Hanna Instruments HI98509-1 Checktemp 1C Pocket Thermometer is used for monitoring temperature in liquids, gases, and semisolids. The thermometer has a Cal Check calibration function that performs a calibration check at the push of a button for increased accuracy of measurements. The HI98509-1 is used to measure temperature in restaurants, food storage facilities, and food preparation areas.
